Just two provisos:

1 - maps of an acceptable quality are not yet available for Donoussa, Iraklia, Koufonissia or Schoinoussa in the Cyclades; or for Kastellorizon, Leros, Lipsi, Patmos, Symi or Tilos in the Dodecanese though we are searching for alternatives. Locally produced maps are usually available on the spot, but treat them with suspicion.

2 - we do not offer maps if your stay is merely a transit stop for 1-2 nights; or (obviously) if a map is out of print, though we have substitutes for some places.

Greek Maps
Experienced travellers to Greece will remember fondly the traditional Greek maps without any indication of scale or date of publication, let alone any co-ordinates for your GPS which might have explained why you were standing 2km out to sea off Spetsai when you thought you were on the Temple of Afea on Aegina. Such maps were obviously compiled by island big-wigs over an ouzo, resulting in whole networks of roads and paths shown simply because they thought tourists would find them useful. Well, they would have: the trouble was that most were non-existent.
